Prepared with green vegetables and a dash of desi spices, this version of Macaroni is an absolute winner as it packs both nutrition and taste

1 cup macaroni pasta

1 capsicum, chopped

½ cup cabbage, finely chopped

3-4 tbsp tomato sauce

2 tomatoes

1 medium carrot, finely chopped

2 tbsp oil

2 green chilly

green coriander, finely chopped

½ tea spoon red chilly powder

salt according to taste

1 inch ginger, grated


Cook the macaroni according to the package directions.

Heat oil in the pan and add ginger and green chilly. After stirring add finely chopped carrot and capsicum and sauté for a while.

Put cabbage and tomatoes into it and cook for some time. Now add salt, tomato sauce, red chilly powder and mix well.

Cook for few more minutes and add macaroni to it. Cover the lid and let it cook on slow flame.

Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
